2016 RSC Dalton Scottish Regional Meeting

The 2016 RSC DaltRSC_LOGO_CMYK_FINALon Regional Meeting will be held at the School of Chemistry, University of Edinburgh, on the 3rd of June. The meeting will begin at 9:30 am. We are delighted to announce two invited speakers. Professor Olivia Reinaud from Université Paris Descartes will give a talk entitled ‘Metal ions in Biomimetic Cavities’. Professor Shigeyoshi Inoue from Technische Universität München will speak on ‘NHC-stabilised low-valent main group compounds: synthesis, structures and activation of small molecules’.

In addition, we will have a range of contributors (both academics and postdoctoral researchers) from universities from across Scotland and the north of England.

A full programme for the day is available here.

The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Ebsworth Symposium, in memory of Evelyn Ebsworth, beginning at 3:30 pm. Those attending the Ebsworth Symposium are welcome to attend the Dalton Regional Meeting.

Those wishing to attend the meeting who are not attending from one of the Scottish chemistry departments (for whom other arrangements are in place) please fill in the contact form here with you details so that we can get correct numbers for the day.

We would like to thank the RSC Dalton Division for supporting this meeting.
